A native of Pakistan, Dr. Zarmeena Ali studied at Aga Khau University, where she earned her medical degree, laying a solid foundation for her future career in medicine. Driven by a passion for excellence and a commitment to patient care, she completed her residency at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Ali then completed her rheumatology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ali has gained much experience across various esteemed institutions. She commenced her professional journey at the Veterans Affairs department in St. Louis followed by expanding her expertise at the Cleveland Clinic in Abu Dhabi, where she contributed significantly to the clinic's mission of providing world-class healthcare. After returning to the United States, she joined East Alabama Medical Center, where Dr. Ali transitioned to private practice and now serves her patients here at Premier Rheumatology of Alabama. 

Outside of being a dedicated physician, Dr. Ali finds joy and relaxation in bird watching and exploring the natural beauty of her local surroundings with her family. She is also an avid reader of classic novels.
